Here’s What I Believe
YOUR representative needs to represent YOUR values, here is what I believe.
-
I am a board member who listens to my constituents and I will roll up my sleeves and do the research.
Doing more with less is possible, and Jordan District is more efficient in per student spending.
I take the responsibility of spending taxpayer dollars seriously. And I don't take debt lightly.
Of the 41 school districts in Utah, Jordan School District has the 12th lowest Board Local Levy, AND Property Taxes in Jordan are 37.5% lower than the state average per studentI believe that intelligent design for buildings—catering to both current and future student and technological needs—doesn't have to come with a hefty price tag. In fact, Jordans schools have more capacity for students, and stand out for being both cost-effective and highly functional.
I am committed to fiscal responsibility and believe that our resources should be focused where they matter most: on the students. By reducing expenditures on high-level positions, we can allocate more funds directly to areas that have a meaningful impact on their education.
I value keeping Educator pay high to attract and retain the best teaching talent available while keeping property taxes low by spending smarter.
